Using Bath Bombs

Ever wonder how to use a bath bomb? You're definitely not alone! That's one of the most frequent questions I get when I do markets and events.  So how DO you use a bath bomb?

The first step is to pick one. Find a bath bomb that looks pretty and smells great! There are so many possibilities!

Now that you have your perfect bath bomb, decide how much of it you want to use. Most people use the whole thing at once, but you don't have to. If you decide that you want to use less, you are going to want to break it up BEFORE you put it in the water.

You notice that I stressed a word in that last sentence right?  BEFORE.  Why?

Well, bath bombs are typically made out of a combination of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and citric acid, along with other ingredients depending on the company that makes them. This combination makes a nice solid, and hard, bath bomb. However, when it is introduced to water, the water is what sets off the fizzing reaction.

So if you put your bath bomb in the water and then decide that you don't want to use all of it, you're probably out of luck.

Figure it out ahead of time, and you have a chance to divide it up for use over the course of a few baths. Simply use a knife to chop it into smaller pieces.

Once you've got all that figured out, it's bath time!  Run your bath, using warm water to your desired temperature. Drop in the bath bomb and watch the show!

Our bath bombs contain a heaping dose of cocoa butter, which means that they are great for your skin and will leave you ultra moisturized.

Please use caution when entering and exiting the tub, as the cocoa butter can make the bathtub slippery.

How do you like to enjoy your bath bombs?
