Hello again, and welcome! 2020 is finally over, and well, that's a bit of a relief.

It's been a wild ride over the past 10 months. The world has changed due to the pandemic. We're all trying to figure out what the new "normal" is going to be. I have no doubt that we'll figure it out, but getting there will be a bit of a stretch. Flexibility and adaptation is the name of the game.
So what does that mean for us? Well, over the past 10 months, most of the in-person craft events and markets that that we typically participate in were cancelled. Some of them were permanently discontinued. While that means that our revenue has been impacted - as has that of many other small businesses - we have learned to adapt to a new way of doing things.
We are fortunate in that we already had an online presence established prior to this year. Because we don't have a retail location of our own, we did not have to deal with shutdowns and quarantine restrictions in that sense. The shops that stock our products did, and many of them have pivoted to provide a better online experience. Of course, we support and appreciate each one of them!
Especially in December, the increased amount of online shopping has directly effected shipping times. The USPS is doing the best it can with its resources. I am confident that every will get their packages...eventually. Just be patient!
As I reflect on 2020, I see opportunities to move forward. We can always be better, we can always improve. With that said, here at The Soaping Soprano, we will be making some changes to our business. Don't worry, we aren't going anywhere!
In the coming months, be on the lookout for website refresh. We've been in business for 6 years now, and this will be a welcome change. We'll also be adding new products and have some returning favorites as well. I'm excited to share this new phase of our journey with you, so keep your eyes peeled for the changes to come!
And as always, thank you. Thank you for being the most wonderful people. We love and appreciate you all. Without you, we wouldn't be here! We look forward to sharing this year, and many more, with all of you.
