Shipping and Return Policies

Shipping:

I ship items on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  All items are shipped via the USPS, most utilizing their Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes or Pouches.  For smaller orders, items are shipped using USPS First Class Mail.  This is currently the most economical way for your purchases to be shipped to you.  If you prefer that your items be shipped via another method, please contact me at thesoapingsoprano@gmail.com so that we can discuss this and find a solution that works for you.  

Once shipped, domestic packages typically arrive within 1-3 business days.  Smaller domestic orders (shipped using USPS First Class Mail), typically arrive within 3-5 business days.  Please note that these are average times only!  International orders may take 4-6 weeks to arrive, depending on many factors outside of my control (including customs).  Once a package has been given over to the post office, I have no control over how long it is in transit.  Many factors may affect your package, including weather and holidays.  You will be notified via email when you items have shipped, and provided with a tracking number if applicable.  If for some reason you feel that your package is taking an inordinately long time to arrive, please let me know so I can follow up with the post office and find out where it is for you!  I ship packages on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you need your items to be shipped earlier, please send an email to thesoapingsoprano@gmail.com and let me know.  I'm always happy to make a special trip to the post office for you!

At this time, I ship within the US, and also to Canada, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.  I can absolutely add your country to the list of places I ship!  Please contact me at thesoapingsoprano@gmail.com so I can set that up for you.  

US Shipping Rates:

First Class Mail Parcel:  $3.94
This is a 6 x 9 inch padded envelope and holds 1 or 2 soaps.  

Small Priority Mail Flat Rate Box:  $5.95
This box holds up to 4 soaps.

Priority Mail Padded Flat Rate Envelope:  $6.10
This box holds up to approximately 16 soaps.

Medium Priority Mail Flat Rate Box:  $12.95
This box holds up to approximately 50 soaps.

Canada Shipping Rates

Small International Priority Mail Flat Rate Box:  $20.85
This box holds up to 4 soaps.

Medium International Priority Mail Flat Rate Box:  $42.95
This box holds up to approximately 50 soaps. 

International Shipping Rates

Small International Priority Mail Flat Rate Box:  $25.25
This box holds up to 4 soaps.

Medium International Priority Mail Flat Rate Box:  $62.95
This box holds up to approximately 50 soaps. 

I will always use the smallest box possible for your order, but must also carefully pack your items to ensure they arrive undamaged.  Whenever possible, I use recycled packing materials to help ensure your items arrive in perfect condition.  International orders may only be shipped in boxes, in an effort to have them arrive at their destination undamaged.  

Returns:

Our return policy covers for the 14 days after delivery of your items. If 14 days have gone by since you have received your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase.  Please do not send your purchase back to me without specific instructions to do so. 

Refunds (if applicable):

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you let you know that I have received your returned item(s). I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days of this approval. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable):

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.  Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.  Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me at thesoapingsoprano@gmail.com so that I may look into it further.

Returns of Sale/Clearance items (if applicable):

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale or clearance items cannot be returned or refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable):

I only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send me an email at thesoapingsoprano@gmail.com.  I will contact you from this same email, and let you know how to send it back to me.  Please make your selections with care, because I cannot accept returns/exchanges on personal care items for reasons other than damage or defects.

Return Shipping:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.  You will be notified via email when you items ship, and provided with a tracking number if applicable.  Remember, I ship packages on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you need your items to be shipped earlier, please send an email to thesoapingsoprano@gmail.com and let me know.  

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I can’t guarantee that I will receive your returned item.  But with a tracking number and/or insurance, both myself and you can keep an eye on the status of your return.
